Sports World 2019

On the 12th – 13th of Jan. 2019 the austrian Aeroclub got a place at the Vienna Cars and Holiday Exhibition. All sections were present. Sailplane, Balloon flying, Rc – Planes, Parachuting, and Hang- Paragliders. The Team from AcroProject and SoaringClub HoheWand were present with a lot of information material and of course with hang and Paraglider harness. A lot of people were around and could test how it feels to sit in the harness.

We met a lot of great people and could present our fascinating sport in a great manner. Next to us, we had a very famous group called “RED BULL ROTORWING Formation”. We had a really good time there and a lot of fun.

In my opinion, this exhibition was a good start for presenting the activities of the Austrian aeroclub. Big thanks to the Soaringclub HoheWand, Flight School Fly-Hohewand for the harness swing, and to Helga, Peter, and Martin for help. Let’s keep this in mind and see us on the next date! Cheers Blacky
